The beginning of the hike had some beautiful trees, I couldn’t help myself. I was like a little kid getting to go to a McDonald’s play place. 
This stump reminds me of the children’s book “the Giving Tree, By Shel Silverstein.” If you haven’t read that book I highly suggest it.
